FEDECOM 2023 AWARD: TALGO

Talgo, a leading company in the design, manufacture and maintenance of high-speed light trains, has received this Wednesday the “Company of the Year 2023” award, granted by the Federation of Official Spanish Chambers of Commerce in Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania (FEDECOM). With this annual recognition, FEDECOM rewards Spanish companies that stand out for their commercial activity and international profile.

The railway company has been chosen for its track record as a leading company in the global railway sector, thanks to the application of its unique technology that provides added value in light, environmentally friendly trains that are wider and more comfortable than those of the competition, and which has reached countries such as Germany, Denmark, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and Egypt among others. The presentation ceremony, which took place at the residence of the Ambassador in Berlin, Ricardo Martínez Vázquez, was attended by public figures from Germany and Spain, such as Volker Wissing, German Minister for Digitalization and Transport; Michael Theurer, German State Secretary for Digitalization and Transport; Richard Lutz, CEO of Deutsche Bahn; Xiana Méndez, Spanish Secretary of State for Trade; Eduardo Barrachina, President of the Federation of Official Spanish Chambers of Commerce in Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania (FEDECOM), Juan José de Vicente Caballero, President of the host Chamber of Commerce in Germany and the Ambassador in Berlin himself.
